Print Quality

After creating a document, open the [Printing Preferences] dialog box in the document's native application.

For details about displaying the [Printing Preferences] dialog box, see Displaying the Printing Preferences dialog box in an application.

Click the [Detailed Settings] tab.

In the "Menu:" box, click the [Print Quality] icon.

Set the convenient print functions.

• To set the toner saving function using the PCL 6 printer driver, select [On] in the "Toner Saving:" list.

• To set the toner saving function using the PostScript 3 printer driver, select a toner saving mode in the "Toner Saving:" list.

Change any other print settings as necessary. For details, see the printer driver Help.

Click [OK].

Start printing from the application's [Print] dialog box.
