1Download the printer driver file.

2Close all applications except this manual.

3Double click the downloaded file and unzip it at an easily accessible location.

4Check that the power of the printer is off.

5Connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable.

Make sure to connect the USB cable firmly.

6Turn on the power of the printer.

Found New Hardware Wizard starts, and USB Printing Support is installed automatically.

7Click [No, not this time], and then click [Next].

8In the [Found New Hardware] window, click [Install from a list or specific location [Advanced]], and then click [Next].

9Select the [Include this location in the search:] check box under [Search for the best driver in these locations], and then click [Next].

10Click [Browse...], and then specify the location where the source files of the printer driver are saved.

In the [Disk1] folder, specify the INF file.

11Check the printer driver location, and then click [Next].

12Click [Finish].

If the installation is successful, the icon of the printer connected to the "USB001" port is added to the [Printers and Faxes] window.

  • The number after "USB" varies depending on the number of printers connected.
