Auto Reset

You can set the machine to automatically return to its initial condition if it is left idle for a certain period of time. This is called "Auto Reset".

Note

  • The Auto Reset time can be set between one and five minutes. It also can be set to [Off]. For details see 1 System.

  • The default for Auto Reset is Off.

  • Auto Reset will not be performed if:

    • There is no ink

    • A paper jam occurs

    • Masters or prints are being created

    • The machine is printing the second page of a combine print

    • There is no paper

    • There is no master

    • The master eject box is full

    • An original is placed in the ADF

    • The Cover Open indicator is lit

    • Changes are being added to User Tools

    • Auto Reset is set to [Off]
