This machine can be set to shut down automatically if no one has used it for a while. In this situation, even though the energy saver indicator flashes slowly, the machine can still receive and print incoming documents as long as the main power switch is on.
Reception is not possible if the main power switch is turned off.
You can set whether documents are printed as soon as they are received (Immediate Reception) with the User Parameter (switch 14, bit 0) in the Facsimile Features menu. You can also have fax documents received by Memory Reception (Substitute Reception) printed after the machine is turned on. See Parameter Settings
