Background Numbering

Use this function to have numbers printed on the background of copies.

If this function is used in conjunction with Sort, the same numbers are printed on each set of copies, helping you keep track of confidential documents.

Depending on your model and which options are installed on it, this function might not be available. For details, see "Functions Requiring Optional Configurations", Getting Started.

1Press [Edit / Stamp].

2Press [Stamp].

3Press [Background Numbering].

4Enter the number to start counting from with the number keys, and then press [Sharp].

5Press [OK] twice.

Note

  • The numbers appear to overlap the copied image in some cases.
