Specified Area Repeat

Repeatedly copies a specified portion of the image.

Important

  • You cannot use this function from the ADF.

  • If Margin Adjustment is selected, cancel the setting.

To specify the area you want to repeat, you have to define the value of X1, Y1, X2, and Y2 on the original. Measure the area you want to specify before entering the area settings.

  1. Set the original on the exposure glass

X1: 0 hyphen 277 mm (0 hyphen 10.9 inches)

X2: 20 hyphen 297 mm (0.8 hyphen 11.6 inches)

Y1: 0 hyphen 196 mm (0 hyphen 7.7 inches)

Y2: 20 hyphen 216 mm (0.8 hyphen 8.5 inches)

1Press [Original Settng].

2Press [Original Size].

3Specify the original size, and then press [OK].

4Select original orientation.

5Press [OK].

6Select the paper tray and the reproduction ratio.

7Press [Edit / Color].

8Press [Edit Image].

9Press [Image Repeat].

10Press [Specified Area].

11Enter the length of [X1] with number keys, and then press [Sharp].

12Enter the length of [Y1] with the number keys, and then press [Sharp].

13Enter the length of [X2] with the number keys, and then press [Sharp].

14Enter the length of [Y2] with the number keys, and then press [Sharp].

15Press [OK] twice.
