When User Authentication is Enabled

Press the [Switch Functions] key.

The [Switch Func.] screen appears.

Press the [ ] or [ ] key to select [JavaTM/X], and then press the [OK] key.

If more than one extended feature is installed, use the [ ] or [ ] key to select [ELP NX (L)], and then press the [OK] key.

Log in to the printer.

The procedure for logging in to the printer differs depending on the authentication settings. For details about how to log in to the printer, consult your administrator.

If authentication fails, the message “Authentication failed.” will appear. Consult your administrator about how to proceed.

The user screen appears.
