Nozzle Check

Follow the procedure below to check whether the print-head nozzles are clogged up or not by printing a nozzle check test pattern.

  1. Press the [Menu] key.

  2. Press the [Down arrow key] or [Up arrow key] key to display [Maintenance], and then press the [Yes] key.

    Maintenance?       Up arrow key
     OK=Yes / or 1-9   Down arrow key

  3. Press the [Down arrow key] or [Up arrow key] key to display [Nozzle Check], and then press the [Yes] key.

    1 Nozzle Check?    Up arrow key
     OK=Yes            Down arrow key

    A test pattern is printed.

  4. Press the [No] key twice.

    The initial screen appears.

  5. Check the printed test pattern.
