Connecting to an FTP Server

This section explains how to use Web Image Monitor to make settings for connecting to an FTP server. This section explains how to use Web Image Monitor to specify the make settings for connecting to an FTP server.

Important

  1. On the Category tab, click [Address].

  2. In the Menu area, click [Speed Dial List].

    The speed dial list appears in the Work area.

  3. Click [90-99].

    “Speed Dial List (Scan mode) [90-99]” (speed dial keys 90 to 99) appears in the Work area.

  4. Click on the speed dial key number (between 90 and 99) to which you want to assign settings a destination.

    The registration screen appears.

  5. Specify the settings, and then click [Apply] to register them.

    The speed dial list appears in the Work area.

Destination Name

Enter the destination name.

FTP Server Address

Enter the address of the FTP server.

Path

Enter the destination path of the FTP server.

Enable Proxy

Specify whether or not to use a proxy server.

Port Number

Specify the port number of the FTP server (when a proxy server is not being used).

E-mail Notification

Enable E-mail Notification

Specify whether or not FTP transfers are reported by e-mail.

E-mail Address

To use this function, enter the e-mail addresses that the FTP transfer reports are sent to. You can specify up to 10 addresses.

Anonymous

In this mode, anonymous logon will be used to access the FTP server.

Private

In this mode, enter a user name and password to log on to the FTP server. To confirm the password, enter it a second time.
