Selecting the Country

Before using the fax function, specify the country in which you use the machine according to the following procedure:

  1. Press the [Menu] key.

    The menu screen appears.

  2. Press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to display [System Settings], and then press the [Yes] key.

    System Settings?   Up arrow key
     OK=Yes / or 1-8   Down arrow key

  3. Press the [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to display [Country], and then press the [Yes] key.

    7 Country?         Up arrow key
     OK=Yes            Down arrow key

  4. Press the[Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] key to select your country.

    USA?               Up arrow key
     OK=Yes            Down arrow key

    The System Settings screen appears.

    Press the [No] key to switch to the initial screen.
