No Response from Device

Follow the procedure below to check the port settings and the connection between the machine and computer.

1Check that the power of the machine is on.

2Make sure that the computer and machine are properly connected using a USB cable.

3Open the printer properties dialog box.

4Click the [Ports] tab.

5Check that USB is selected in the [Print to the following port:] list.

Note

  • Under Windows 98/Me, check that USB is selected in the list on the [Details] tab.
