RICOH Smart Presenter Ver1.5.0 or later is required to connect to RICOH Conference Center Ver1.1. RICOH Smart Presenter Ver1.4.3 or earlier cannot connect to RICOH Conference Center Ver1.1.
Before installing Ricoh Conference Center, Windows firewall settings must be changed.
Open Windows Firewall [Customized Settings] window and remove the checks from the following settings:
[Block all incoming connections, including those in the list of allowed program]
[Notify me when Windows Firewall blocks a new program]
To access Windows Firewall [Customize Settings] window, click
[Control Panel] > [Check firewall status] > [Change notification settings].
Before installing Ricoh Conference Center, Windows UAC settings must be turned off.
Similarly, keep UAC settings turned off after Ricoh Conference Center has been installed.
Ricoh Conference Center cannot be installed to the computer in which short file name generation is disabled.
To use the tools of the Start menu (start/end services, SSL settings), you must have administrative rights on the computer.
The following message appears in the event viewer immediately after installation, but you can ignore this message:
"The RCCOpenfire service is marked as an interactive service.
However, the system is configured to not allow interactive services.
This service may not function properly."
