Waiting Time Prior to Printing is Too Long (Envelope)

For some envelopes that are susceptible to creasing, the machine has a control scheme to execute 3-minute idling before feeding such envelopes.

If creases on the envelopes are tolerable, you can turn off the following setting to reduce the waiting time before printing starts.

However, if you change the following setting, the risk of problems, such as creases, worm tracks and fusing errors, increases when printing envelopes.

1If the paper is not registered as custom paper, register the brand of the paper.

2In [Detailed settings] for custom paper, check 1242-01: [Initial Fusing Temperature for Envelope]. If it is set to "On", set it to "Off".

If it is already set to "Off," there is no other solution.
