Paper Bending or Paper Jams (J034 / J035 / J036 / J084 / J085 / J086)
Cause:
There is a lever on the left drawer unit of the main unit to switch when feeding small paper of length 179 mm (7.1 inches) or less. Failing to switch this lever causes paper bending or paper jams.

[A]: Setting for large paper (paper size of 179.1 mm or longer)
[B]: Setting for small paper (paper size below 179.1 mm)
Feeding large paper with the setting for small paper (with the lever lowered) may cause paper bending or paper jams.
Paper bending [A]
Paper bends in its center perpendicular to the paper feed direction. (This is prone to occur with thin paper.)

Paper Jam (J034 / J035 / J036 / J084 / J085 / J086)
Paper jams occur near the paper exit due to paper bending.
Chain of creases
Vertical creases of approximately 170 mm (7.1 inches) long occur.

If small paper is fed with the setting for large paper (with the lever raised), paper fails to be fed, resulting in a paper jam (J034).
Solution:
Switch the lever correctly according to the paper size.
