Image Deformation, Scratches, Streaks, Paper Creases or Bent Corners

Cause:

  • The paper exit roller is stained.

  • The line speed of the exit motor or the paper feed speed at the switchback entrance/exit is too fast or too slow.

  • The paper feed speed is too fast or too slow for the decurler unit operation.

  • The decurling direction or strength of the decurler unit is not specified correctly.

Solution: (Adjust the line speed of the paper exit motor and the paper feed speed at the switchback entrance/exit)

If the problem persists even after the paper exit roller is cleaned, adjust the line speed of the paper exit motor and the paper feed speed at the switchback entrance/exit.
