Add Extra Toner
If print density decreases or printed characters are blurred after a large number of documents are printed at one time, toner can be refilled forcibly. To start a toner refill, it is needed to open and close the cover or turn the machine off then back on.
Consult your service representative before using this function.
Add Extra Toner (Settings Screen Type: Standard)
Press [Settings] on the Home screen.
Press [Maintenance]
[Add Extra Toner].
Press [OK].
Press [Exit].
Perform one of the following measures.
Open and close the top cover.
Turn off the power of the machine, wait for 10 seconds or more after confirming that the main power indicator is turned off, and then turn on the power again.
Add Extra Toner (Settings Screen Type: Classic)
Press [Settings] on the Home screen.
Press [Machine Features Settings][Maintenance][Add Extra Toner].
Press [OK].
Press [Exit].
Perform one of the following measures.
Open and close the top cover.
Turn off the power of the machine, wait for 10 seconds or more after confirming that the main power indicator is turned off, and then turn on the power again.
