This section describes the items that are available on [System].

Description

Print Error Report

Specify whether to print an error report when a machine or memory error occurs.

  • Default: [Off]

Auto Continue

Specify whether to continue printing after a system error occurs. To enable [Auto Continue], specify how long the error message is displayed before printing is resumed.

  • Default: [Off]

Memory Overflow

Specify whether to print a memory overflow error report.

  • Default: [Do not Print]

Error Display Setting

Specify errors to display errors if they occur during internal data processing.

  • Default: [All]

AutoCncl for Prt Job onErr

Specify whether to automatically cancel a print job if an error occurs as well as the jobs that have been received before the error.

  • Default: [Off]

Printer Language

Specify the printer language.

  • Default: [Auto]

Sub Paper Size

Specify whether to treat A4 and Letter (81/2 × 11) size paper as the same size.

  • Default: [Auto]

Default Printer Lang.

Specify the printer language to be used when the machine fails to detect the printer language.

  • Default: [PCL]

Low Power Mode Timer

  • Low Power Mode Timr On/Off

    Specify whether to enable or disable the low-power mode timer.

    • Default: [Off]

  • Low Power Mode Timer

    Specify the time to wait before entering low-power mode for power saving.

    If the machine is left unused for a certain period of time, it first enters low-power mode and eventually enters Sleep mode.

    • Default: [1 minute]

Sleep Mode Timer

Sleep Mode Timer

When [On] is selected for [Sleep Mode Timer On/Off], specify the time to wait before entering Sleep mode for power saving.

If the machine is left unused for a certain period of time, it first enters low-power mode and eventually enters Sleep mode.

  • Default: [1 minute]

Weekly Timer

Specify whether to enable or disable the weekly timer that switches the machine to and from Off mode or Sleep mode on a weekly basis.

When [Daily (Web Preset Time)] or [Day of Week(Preset Time)] is selected, you can specify detailed settings for Weekly Timer using Web Image Monitor.

  • Default: [Inactive]

Weekly Timer Code

Specify whether to enable or disable the weekly timer code.

When [On] is selected, you are prompted to enter the password in the event that the machine recovers from Off mode or Sleep mode.

  • Default: [Off]

Main Power On by Remote

Specify whether to turn on the machine's main power from a computer on the network using Wake-On-LAN.

  • Default: [Inactive]

Engy Sv Md to Dsbl Prt Srv

Specify whether to enable or disable Energy Saver mode while using the USB device server. When the machine is in Energy Saver mode, a print server is not supplied with the power source and you cannot print.

  • Default: [Enable Mode]

Ready State After Printing

Specify the state to which the machine returns after printing documents during Sleep Mode.

  • Default: [Cntrl Panel Off (EngySavg)]

Print Compressed Data

Specify whether to whether to uncompress and extract job data compressed in the GZIP format before printing.

  • Default: [Off]

Memory Usage

Specify the memory priority of the machine. Select which memory has priority, Font Priority or Frame Priority.

  • Default: [Frame Priority]

Spool Printing

Specify whether to complete spooling before starting to print.

[Spool Printing] appears only when the optional hard disk is installed.

  • Default: [Off]

RAM Disk

If the optional hard disk is not installed for PDF Direct Print, specify a value of 2 MB or higher.

  • Default: [64 MB]

Auto E-mail Notify

Specify whether to send the error notification to a preset e-mail address.

  • Default: [On]

Silent Mode

Specify whether to enable Silent mode for the machine.

When [On] is selected, you can minimize operational sounds by reducing the productivity. Enable Silent Mode if you prefer quietness over productivity.

  • Default: [Off]

Main Pwr Off if Ntwrk Disc

RegionA icon (mainly Europe)

Specify whether to switch to Off mode if all Ethernet connections and USB2.0 connections are disconnected for more than two hours.

  • Default: [On]

Display Network Status

Specify whether to display a warning screen if the machine is not connected to the network.

Serial No. of Machine

You can check the serial number of the machine.
