Backing up Custom Paper Profiles Registered Under the [Custom Paper Management] Setting

The machine administrator can save all types of registered custom paper to the paper library in an SD card at one time.

Backing up the Data

1Press [Tray Paper Settings] in the upper left corner of the screen.

2Press [Custom Paper Management].

3Insert an SD card into the media slot.

For details about using an SD card, see "Inserting an SD Card", Preparation.

4Press [Export].

5Press [OK].

6Press [Exit].

7Press [Operation panel screen illustration].

8Press the [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) icon at the center bottom of the screen.

Restoring the Data

1Press [Tray Paper Settings] in the upper left corner of the screen.

2Press [Custom Paper Management].

3Insert the SD card containing the backup custom paper profiles into the SD card slot on the side of the control panel.

4Press [Import] and select [From SD Card] from the dropdown menu.

5Select the name of the paper that you want to register.

Select an item by selecting its check box.

If the paper you want to select is not displayed, use [Jump to Row], or scroll through the screen until the desired item is displayed.

You can select two or more types of paper.

6Press [Import].

7Press [OK].

8Press [Exit].

9Press [Operation panel screen illustration].

10Press the [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) icon at the center bottom of the screen.

Note

  • Up to 1,000 custom papers can be saved in the library.

  • Each saved custom paper is assigned a sequential number from 0001. New data overwrites existing data if both the paper names and paper size settings are the same.
