Limiting Available Functions

To prevent unauthorized operations, you can specify who is allowed to access each of the machine's functions.

Specify the functions available to registered user using a web browser from networked computers. (We use Web Image Monitor installed on this machine.) By configuring this setting, you can limit the functions available to users.

Open a web browser from a networked computer, and then log in to Web Image Monitor as the user administrator.

Point to [Device Management], and then click [Address Book].

Select the user you want to specify in the address list.

Click [Detail Input], and then click [Change].

Specify the [Available Functions], and then click [OK].

Log out.
