Cleaning the Laser Scanner Unit

You can clean the Laser Scanner Unit. A white vertical streak may appear on the output when toner or a foreign object adheres on the dust-proof glass of the Laser Scanner Unit. This function cleans the dust-proof glass and removes any foreign objects. Execute this function three times consecutively.

Select [Maintenance] Press [OK]

Select [Quality Maintenance] Press [OK]

Select [Clean Laser Scanner Unit] Press [OK]

A confirmation message appears. Press [OK] to clean the laser scanner unit.

The display returns to the [Quality Maintenance] screen.
