Quality Maintenance

Color Registration

You can perform automatic adjustment of color registration. For details, see Adjusting the Color Registration.

Manual Color Registration

You can adjust color registration manually. For details, see Manual Color Registration.

Color Calibration

You can adjust the gradation of bright (highlighted parts) and medium areas (middle parts) for printing. For details, see Correcting the Color Gradation.

Adjust Auto Density

You can print the gradation of auto density.

Print Test Pattern 1

You can print gradation correction sheet 1.

Print Test Pattern 2

You can print gradation correction sheet 2.

Reset Setting

You can reset the gradation correction value to default.

Registration

You can adjust the starting position of the printing page. For details, see Adjusting Printing Position.

You can print the registration test sheet.

Adjustment

You can select the start position for printing on a page.

4 Color Graphic Mode

You can adjust the level of toner color overlap. If characters or lines blur, selecting Text Priority may improve their quality. Under normal conditions, set Inactive.

Drum Refresh

You can refresh the drum to improve print quality if streaks or white spots appear on printed images. For details, see Drum Refresh.

Auto Drum Refresh

You can specify how long it takes to refresh the drum automatically.

The drum may be refreshed automatically due to conditions such as temperature or humidity when the machine is turned on or recovers from the sleep mode. For details, see Auto Drum Refresh.

Altitude Adjustment

You can adjust the altitude settings.

If the machine is operated in an environment at an altitude of 1500 meters or higher and irregular white streaks or spots appear on printed images, enable this function to improve print quality. For details, see Altitude Adjustment.

Charger Output

You can specify the power of the electrostatic charger. If irregular streaks appear on printed images, enable this function to improve print quality. For details, see Charger Output.

Clean Photoconductor Unit

You can clean the Photoconductor Unit.

High Gloss Print

You can specify whether to enable High Gloss Print (the mode that applies glossy finish on the printed paper).

Photoconductor Unit Heater

You can turn the Heater in the Photoconductor UnitOn or Off.

Clean Laser Scanner Unit

You can clean the Laser Scanner Unit.
