Host Interface

This section describes the settings in the [Host Interface] menu under [Printer Settings].

Items	Description
I/O Buffer	You can specify the memory size of the I/O buffer. Normally it is not necessary to change this. Default: [128 KB]
I/O Timeout	This is the setting for printing via parallel or USB interface. Specify the time to lock the interface switch (10 to 60 seconds) to prevent interrupting the data transmission with a print job from another interface. If the specified time is too short, a timeout may occur during the data transmission. Default: [15 second(s)]
Locked Print Timeout Period	You can specify the time (0-300 seconds) to allow operation on the stored files when the number of files stored in the machine reaches the maximum number (5 files). Delete or print a file within the specified time to store a new file. If the specified time passes without you performing any operation on the stored file, you cannot store a new file. Default: [60 second(s)]
