ipp
Use the "ipp" command to view and configure the IPP settings.
View settings
The following command displays the current IPP settings:
msh> ipp
IPP timeout configuration
Specify how many seconds the computer waits before canceling an interrupted print job. The time can be entered between 30 and 65535 seconds.
msh> ipp timeout [30–65535]
IPP Keep-Alive timeout configuration
msh> ipp keepalive_timeout [1 -255]
The following message appears:
Enter the number, user name, and password.
IPP user name:user1
IPP password:*******
After configuring the settings, the following message appears:
IPP configuration changed.
IPP user authentication configuration
Use IPP user authentication to restrict users to print with IPP. The default is "off".
On machines implemented with RICOH Always Current Technology v1.1 or before
msh> ipp auth {off|digest|basic}
User authentication settings are "basic" and "digest".
On machines implemented with RICOH Always Current Technology v1.2 or later
msh> ipp auth {off|userauth|digest|basic}
If user authentication is specified, register a user name. You can register up to 10 users.
IPP user name configuration
Configure IPP users according to the following messages:
msh> ipp user
The following message appears:
Input user number (1 to 10):
Enter the number, user name, and password.
IPP user name:user1
IPP password :*******
After configuring the settings, the following message appears:
IPP configuration changed.
