Logging In/Out Using the Control Panel

This section explains the procedure for logging in to the machine when Basic Authentication, Windows Authentication, or LDAP Authentication is set.

When User Code Authentication is active, see User Code Authentication.

To prevent use of the machine by unauthorized persons, always log out when you have finished using the machine.

Logging In Using the Control Panel

Press Login on the top right on the screen.

Press User Name.

Enter a Login User Name, and then press Done.

Press Password.

Enter a Login Password, and then press Done.

Press Login.

Logging Out Using the Control Panel

Press [Logout] on the top right on the screen.

Press [OK].

If authentication fails, the “Cannot log in.” message appears. Check that the Login User Name and Login Password are correct.
