Setting Replacement Alert
You can specify when the indicator lamp for [Alert] on the control panel lights up to prompt users to replace supplies.
Press the [Menu] key.
Press the [

] key to select [Maintenance], and then press the [OK] key.
Press the [] or [] key to select [General Settings], and then press the [OK] key.
Press the [] or [] key to select [Replacement Alert], and then press the [OK] key.
Press the [] or [] key to select [Print Cartridge], and then press the [OK] key.
Press the [] or [] key to select the alert timing from [Notify Sooner], [Normal], or [Notify Later], and then press the [OK] key.
Settings for people using P 502 are finished here. Proceed to step 9.

Press the [] or [] key to select the alert timing from [Notify Sooner], [Normal], or [Notify Later], and then press the [OK] key.
Press the [Menu] key.
The standard notification timing for toner cartridge is shown below. The actual number of days and pages that the machine can print with the remaining toner depends on printing conditions.
[Notify Sooner]: Notifies about 7 days before toner ends. The machine can print about 950 pages after the notification.
[Normal]: Notifies about 5 days before toner ends. The machine can print about 680 pages after the notification.
[Notify Later]: Notifies about 3 days before toner ends. The machine can print about 400 pages after the notification.
