Installing SD Card Options

CAUTION

  • Keep SD cards out of reach of children. If a child swallows a SD card, consult a doctor immediately.

Important

  • Do not subject the card to physical shocks.

1Turn the machine off and unplug the power cord.

2Loosen the screw and remove the SD card slot cover at an angle.

3Insert the SD card into the slot until it clicks.

If you want to use three or more SD cards simultaneously, contact your service representative.

If you use a commercially available SD card for buck up the address book, insert the SD card to lower slot.

4Hook the SD card slot cover onto the opening, attach it flat against the controller board, and then fasten it using the screw.

5Plug in the power cord, and then turn on the machine.

6Confirm that the SD card was installed correctly.

Note

  • You can confirm that the SD card was installed correctly by checking the control panel menu or configuration page.

    • PS3 card: The name of the installed emulation card appears in the [Emulation Priority] of [System Settings].

    • VM card: JavaTM appears when you press the [Switch Functions] key.

  • If the card is not installed properly, repeat the procedure from the beginning. If it cannot be installed correctly even after reattempting installation, contact your sales or service representative.

  • Do not touch the card while the machine is in use. It may come loose, even if pushed only slightly. The slot cover must be reattached.
