Current Machine Status
This section explains how you can check the machine's status and the items displayed. Depending on the options installed on the machine, some items might not be displayed.
UNIX: Use the "stat" parameter and the "rsh", "rcp", and "ftp" commands. "rsh" and "rcp" cannot be used in a Windows environment.
telnet: Use the "status" command.
Check the error contents that may be printed in the configuration page.

Call Service Center | There is a malfunction in the machine. |
Canceling Job... | The job is being reset. |
Check Paper: Bypass Tray | Check that the paper size, orientation, and paper type are correct. |
Configuring... | Setting is being changed. |
Cover Open: Front Cover | The front cover is open. |
Current Job Suspended | The current job is suspended. |
Empty: Toner | The toner cartridge is empty. |
Energy Saver Mode | The machine is in Energy Saver mode. |
Error: Ethernet Board | An Ethernet board error has occurred. |
Error: HDD Board | When the optional hard disk is installed, a hard disk drive board error has occurred. |
Error: Optional Font | An error has occurred in the font file of the machine. |
Error: Parallel I/F Board | An error has occurred in the parallel interface. |
Error: PDL | An error has occurred in the page description language. |
Error: USB Interface | An error has occurred in the USB interface. |
Error: Wireless Card | The optional wireless LAN board is removed after startup. |
Full: Waste Toner | Waste Toner is full. |
Hex Dump Mode | It is a hex dump mode. |
Independent-supplier Toner | Toner cartridges other than genuine ones are set. |
Jobs Suspended | All jobs are suspended. |
Loading Toner… | Toner is being supplied. |
Low: Toner | Toner is almost running out. |
Malfunction: Bypass Tray | There is a problem with the bypass tray. |
Malfunction: Tray 1 | There is a problem with Tray 1. |
Malfunction: Tray 2 | There is a problem with Tray 2. |
Malfunction: Tray 3 | There is a problem with Tray 3. |
Malfunction: Tray 4 | There is a problem with Tray 4. |
Mismatch: Paper Size | Indicated paper tray does not contain paper of selected size. |
Mismatch: Paper Size and Type | Indicated paper tray does not contain paper of selected size and type. |
Mismatch: Paper Type | Indicated paper tray does not contain paper of selected type. |
Nearly Full: Waste Toner | Waste Toner is nearly full. |
No Paper: Selected Tray | There is no paper in the specified tray. |
Not Detected: Drum Unit | The drum unit is not correctly set. |
Not Detected: Fuser Unit | The fusing unit is not correctly set. |
Not Detected: Input Tray | There is no paper in the specified tray or the paper tray is not correctly set. |
Offline | Machine is offline. |
Paper in Duplex Unit | The paper remains in the duplex unit. |
Paper Misfeed: Bypass Tray | The paper has jammed in the bypass Tray. |
Paper Misfeed: Duplex Unit | The paper has jammed in Duplex Unit. |
Paper Misfeed: Internal Path | The paper has jammed inside the machine. |
Paper Misfeed: Tray 1 | The paper has jammed in Tray 1. |
Paper Misfeed: Tray 2 | The paper has jammed in Tray 2. |
Paper Misfeed: Tray 3 | The paper has jammed in Tray 3. |
Paper Misfeed: Tray 4 | The paper has jammed in Tray 4. |
Printing... | Printing is in progress. |
Proxy User/Password Incorrect | The proxy user name and/or password setting is incorrect. |
Ready | The machine is ready to print. |
Renewing Remote Certificate | The remote certificate is being renewed. |
SD Card Authentication failed | SD card authentication failed. |
Supplies Order Call failed | The supply order call has failed. |
Tray Error: Duplex Printing | Selected paper tray cannot be used for duplex printing. |
Warming Up... | The machine is warming up. |
