Importing Device Information
Import device information saved on an SD card.
Before importing the device information, be sure to finish other operations on the machine. During import, you cannot operate the machine.
Turn off the machine.
Insert an SD card into the upper media slot on the rear of the machine.

Turn on the machine.
Press the [Menu] key.
Log in as an administrator with user administrator, machine administrator, network administrator, and file administrator privileges.

Press the [] or [] key to select [Device Setting Information], and then press the [OK] key.
Press the [] or [] key to select [DevSettgInfo: Imp (MemDev)], and then press the [OK] key.
Press the [] or [] key to select [Select Devc Setg Info File], and then press the [OK] key.
Press the [] or [] key to select the file you want to import, and then press the [OK] key.
Press the [] or [] key to select [Device Unique Information], and then press the [OK] key.
Press the [] or [] key to select [Include] or [Exclude], and then press the [OK] key.
Specify whether to import the "Device Unique Information". The "Device Unique Information" includes the IP address, host name, etc.
Press the [] or [] key to select [Enter Encryption Key], and then press the [OK] key.
Press the selection key beneath [Enter].
Press the [] or [] key to select a character for the encryption key, and then press the [OK] key to enter the character. Repeat this to complete the encryption key, and then press the selection key beneath [Accept].
To enter upper-case letters, numerals, or symbols, press the selection key beneath [ABC/123].
To delete a character that has been entered, press the selection key beneath [Delete].
Press the selection key beneath [Import] twice.
Press the selection key beneath [Yes].
Press the selection key beneath [Exit].
The machine restarts.
Turn off the machine, and then remove the SD card.
If import or export fails, you can check the log for the error. The log is stored in the same location as the exported device setting information file.
