Installing the Driver under Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2

1On the [Start] menu, click [Computer].

2Click [Network].

The search for the machine starts.

3Right-click the machine, and then click [Install].

  • If "Device driver software was not successfully installed" is displayed, close the message, and then proceed to Step 4.

4On the [Start] menu, click [Devices and Printers].

5Click [Add a printer].

6Click [Add a local printer].

7Select the WSD port on "Use an existing port:", and then click [Next].

8Click [Have Disk...] [Browse...] to specify the driver (INF file), and then click [OK].

  • If the CD-ROM drive is D:\, the file is stored in the following folder:

  • The downloaded file is stored in the "DISK1" folder.

9Select the machine you want to use, and then click [Next].

Follow the instructions on the screen to proceed with the installation.

10When the installation is complete, close all windows.
