If the machine's interior temperature is not sufficiently high—for instance, on a winter morning—the transfer roller's resistance value may increase temporarily, resulting in image quality degradation. To prevent this, the machine is equipped with a transfer heater.
Open the front left cover.
If the machine's interior temperature is not sufficiently high—for instance, on a winter morning—turn on the transfer heater switch.
Otherwise, set it to the standby position.
