Keys that Appear on the Initial Settings Screen and Screens of Each Classic Application

1. System Settings
   Specify the network settings, operation sounds, and other settings.

2. Address Book
   
   Manage the destination for sending data from the fax or scanner or the authentication information for logging in to the machine.
   You can start operation by pressing [Address Book] on the Home screen.
   

3. Tray/Paper Settings
   
   Specify the size and type of paper set in the paper tray.

4. Basic Settings When Installing
   
   You can configure the settings easily when installing the machine.
   

   • On the "Settings" screen, you can specify the settings for the items shown below in Wizard format when the machine is moved to a different location or the environment in which the machine is used changes.
     

     • General settings

     • Network settings

     • Facsimile settings

   • On the "Scan to Folder Helper", you can easily specify the destination to send the scanned data to a computer.

5. Application Settings
   Change the settings for the Copier, Document Server, Fax, and Scanner functions.

6. Search All
   You can search for a setting item by entering a keyword. Enter more than one keyword to narrow down the search results.

7. Change Language
   You can change the language displayed on the control panel.

8. Inquiry
   
   Confirm the contact for requesting repair of the machine or ordering consumables.

9. Maintenance
   You can adjust the print position, density, and other settings related to the print quality of the machine.

10. Counter
    
    Display and print the total number of sheets printed for each function.

When you select or specify an item on the display panel, it is highlighted like . Keys appearing as cannot be used.

1. Function screen
   Each function has a different screen.

2. [Reset]
   Press to clear the current settings.

3. [Settings]
   Press this to use the following items:
   

   • Screen Features Settings
     Press to customize the default settings of the operating system installed on the control panel. See User Guide of your device.

   • Machine Features Settings
     Press to customize the default settings of the machine system. You can also customize the default settings of the copier, Document Server, printer, and scanner function. See User Guide of your device.

   • Counter
     Press to check or print the counter value. See User Guide of your device.

   • Inquiry
     Press to find out where to order expendable supplies and where to call when a malfunction occurs.

   • Address Book Management
     Press to display the Address Book.

   • Tray Paper Settings
     Press to make settings for paper trays and paper status.

4. [] (Enter)
   Press to confirm values entered or items specified.

5. [Clear]
   Press to delete a number entered.

6. [Start]
   Press to start copying, printing, scanning, or sending.

7. Number keys
   Use to enter the numbers for copies, fax numbers, and data for the selected function.

   Press to make a single set of copies or prints to check print quality before making multiple sets. See User Guide of your device.

2. [Simplfied Scrn.]
   Press to switch to the simple screen. See Switching screen patterns.

3. [Interrupt mode]
   Press to make interrupt copies. See User Guide of your device.

4. [Recall／Program／Change Program]
   Press to register frequently used settings, or to recall registered settings. See Registering Frequently Used Functions.
