Cause:

Part of the paper is too dry because the paper is exposed to the air flow caused by the fan in the paper tray.

This may occur when:

  • Solid fills in two are printed

  • Printing is performed at low temperature and humidity

  • Thick paper is used

  • Paper is exposed to the air flow caused by the fan in the paper tray for a long time when printing for image quality adjustment is performed
