To prevent unauthorized operations, you can specify who is allowed to access each of the machine's functions.
Specify the functions available to registered users. By configuring this setting, you can limit the functions available to users.
You can place limitations on the use of the copier, fax, scanner, printer, browser functions, and extended features.
Log in as the user administrator from the control panel.
Press [Address Book Management].
Press [Change].
Select the item you want to display from [All Users], [User Code], [Fax Dest.], [Email], and [Folder].
Select the user.
Press [Auth. Info].
Press [] twice.
Select the functions you want to specify.
If the function you want to select is not displayed, press [].
Press [OK].
Log out.
