This section explains how to configure the administrator authentication. You can configure the printer settings so that only the administrator can specify the system settings. You can prevent unauthorized users from changing the settings and allow multiple users to operate the printer securely.
Log in as the administrator from Web Image Monitor.
Point to [Device Management], and then click [Configuration].
Click [Administrator Authentication Management] under “Device Settings”.
Select [On] in “User Administrator Authentication”.
Click [OK].
Log out.
