If both the paper size and the type configured using the printer driver or commands do not match the ones specified on the printer, an error occurs and printing is canceled. If this setting is selected for a print job that does not require the paper type to be specified, you can proceed to print if [Machine Setting(s): Any Type] is specified for the bypass tray using the printer's control panel and the paper size configured using the printer driver or commands matches the one specified on the printer.
To use this function, specify [Bypass Tray] for the input tray using the printer driver.
Press the [Menu] key, and then select the setting items using the [] or [] key.
Select [Print Settings] Press [OK]
Select [Machine Modes] Press [OK]
Select [Tray Setting Priority] Press [OK]
Select [Bypass Tray] Press [OK]
Select [Machine Setting(s): Any Type] Press [OK]
For details about the items that can be configured, see Machine Modes.
[Machine Setting(s): Any Type] can be specified for the bypass tray only.
