Displaying the printing preferences screen from an application

You can make printer settings for a specific application. To make printer settings for a specific application, open the printing preferences screen from that application.

Displayed screens may differ from those indicated in the following steps depending on the application. In the procedure below, Text Edit provided with OS X 10.11 is used as an example.

Select [Print...] on the [File] menu.

Select the printer you are using in the [Printer:] pop-up menu.
