Switching the keyboard language (when using applications other than [Address Book Management] and [Printer (Classic)])

You can switch the language of the keyboard.

The on-screen keyboard layout usually matches the one specified by the on-screen language setting. Use the following procedure to enter a different language.

1Press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) at the bottom of the screen in the center.

2Flick the screen to the left, and then press the [User Tools] icon (Operation panel screen illustration).

3Press [Screen Features].

4Press [Language & input].

5Press [Operation panel screen illustration] next to [Screen Keyboard] or [iWnn IME] under [KEYBOARD & INPUT METHODS].

6Press [Input languages].

7Clear [Use system language] and select the languages you want to use.

8Press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) at the bottom of the screen in the center.

9Switch to the screen to enter text.

10Press and hold down Operation panel screen illustration.

When you are using the default keyboard, you can change the keyboard language by holding down [Space].

11Select the language you want to use from the list.

Tap Operation panel screen illustration once to switch the language selected in Screen Features.
