Specifying the HDD Authentication Code

You can change the HDD Authentication Code of the Enhanced Security HDD option.

1Log in as the machine administrator from the control panel.

2Press [System Settings].

3Press [Administrator Tools].

4Press [Down arrow keyNext] 4 times.

5Press [HDD Authentication Code].

6Enter the authentication code, and then press [OK].

You must enter an authentication code that consists of between 8 and 32 alphanumeric characters.

7Press [OK].

8Press [Exit].

9Log out.

If you want to change the HDD Authentication Code, repeat the procedure.
