The beeper sounds and an error message is displayed when you leave your originals on the exposure glass after scanning.
The machine repeats 5 long beeps four times.
You can change the beeper setting under [Sound of Less Urgent Level] in the Screen Features menu. For details, see "Screen Features", Connecting the Machine/System Settings.
