Copying onto Various Types of Paper

You can copy onto various types of paper, such as envelopes, OHP transparencies, thin paper, and thick paper.

Select a paper type according to the weight or type of the paper you are using.

Important

  • The Duplex function cannot be used if you are using paper whose thicknesses are as follows. If the Duplex function is specified, press [1 sided 2 sided:TtoT] to cancel the setting.

    • Region A icon(mainly Europe)

      Type 1–5 machines: Thick Paper 4

      Type 6 and 7 machines: Thick Paper 2–4

    • Region A icon(mainly Asia)

      Type 1–4 machines: Thick Paper 4

      Type 5 and 6 machines: Thick Paper 2–4

    • Region B icon(mainly North America)

      Type 1–4 machines: Thick Paper 4

      Type 5 and 6 machines: Thick Paper 2–4

You need to specify the type of paper you are using in [Tray Paper Settings] to make copies using paper from the paper trays or LCT.
