The transmission rates of 300 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 130 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band are theoretical values of the wireless LAN specification. The actual transmission rate may be lower, depending on the operating environment.
The maximum transmission rate in the ad-hoc mode is 54 Mbps for IEEE802.11a and 11 Mbps for IEEE802.11b. The Ad-hoc communication is not supported in an IEEE802.11g/n environment.
Channels other than 1–11 and 36–52 cannot be used because of the specifications and the configuration of the access point.
The channel in use might differ depending on the country.
