If the transmission stamp becomes faint, replace the cartridge.
This stamp cartridge is used for facsimile and scanner functions.
Use the cartridge specified for this machine.
Do not add ink to the cartridge by yourself. Neglecting this can cause ink leakage.
Be sure not to dirty your fingers with ink from the cartridge.
Open the ARDF cover.
Lift the ARDF tray.
Pull out the stamp cartridge holder.
Pull out the old stamp cartridge.
Insert the new stamp cartridge.
Push in the cartridge until the metal parts are no longer visible.
Return the stamp cartridge holder to its original position.
Lower the ARDF tray.
Close the ARDF cover.
Position the stamp cartridge holder correctly. There is a mark on the stamp cartridge holder. Make sure that the cartridge is positioned to the mark. If it is not correctly positioned when the ARDF cover is closed, a paper jam warning will appear.
