This allows you to send fax documents at high resolution (Super Fine). This also allows you to receive fax documents at high resolution (Fine or Super Fine).
OCR unit
Allows you to use the searchable PDF function.
Adobe PostScript 3 unit
Allows you to print by Adobe PostScript 3 printer driver.
If you remove the Adobe PostScript 3 Option from your machine, the PS/PDF function, which is a standard function, will no longer work.
IPDS unit
Allows you to print using Intelligent Printer Data Stream (IPDS).
XPS card
Allows you to print XPS files.
USB device server
Allows you to add an Ethernet port to the printer and use two IP addresses at the same time.
Extended USB Board
Allows you to add a USB port.
IEEE 1284 interface board
Allows you to connect to an IEEE 1284 cable.
Wireless LAN board
Allows you to communicate over wireless LAN.
File format converter
Allows you to download the documents that are stored in the Document Server.

Enhanced Security HDD
Allows you to enhance the security of the hard disk by using an encryption function that is compliant with FIPS 140-2.
Fax connection unit
Allows you to send and receive faxes via a different machine that has the fax unit installed.
The Ethernet port, Wireless LAN interface unit, File format converter, USB device server, and Extended USB board cannot be used simultaneously.
Only one of the following options can be installed on the machine at any one time: Wireless LAN board, file format converter, and IEEE 1284 interface board.
Only one of the following options can be installed on the machine at any one time: HDD and Enhanced Security HDD.
