You can forward or route received documents from the main-machine to the sub-machine and print them on the sub-machine.
For example, you can make the main-machine forward the documents for the sales department to the sales department's machine, and forward the documents for the personnel division to the personnel division's machine. The sales department's machine and the personnel division's machine print the documents individually.
To forward or route received documents, in the Fax Features menu on the main-machine, configure the forwarding or routing settings in advance.
You can specify the sub-machine per line used for reception or per sender. For details about the necessary settings, see the following:
If you use [Remote Reception Setting per Line]
On the main-machine, select the line in [Remote Reception Setting per Line] in the Fax Features menu. Specify the sub-machine as a forwarding destination. For details about Remote Reception Setting per Line, see Reception Settings.
If you use [Remote Reception Setting per Sender]
On the main-machine, register a special sender in [Program Special Sender] in the Fax Features menu, and then set [Remote Reception Setting per Sender] to [On]. Specify the sub-machine as an end receiver in [Remote Machine]. For details about Remote Reception Setting per Sender, see Special Senders to Treat Differently.
