Perfect Binding

1Open the document to print.

2Select [Print...] from the [File] menu.

3Select the machine you are using in the [Printer:] pop-up menu.

4Select [Printer Features] from the pop-up menu.

5Select [Finishing 2] in [Feature Sets:].

6Select [Perfect Binding] from the [Perfect/Ring Binding:] pop-up menu.

7Select a binding position from the [Perfect Binding Position:] pop-up menu.

8Select a print position from the [Image Position (Along Binding Edge):] pop-up menu.

9Select a print position from the [Image Position (Across Binding Edge):] pop-up menu.

10Select [Finishing 3] in [Feature Sets:].

11Select a cut type from the [Perfect Binding Cutting Options:] pop-up menu.

12Select cut positions from the [Cut Position Adjustment (Head Edge):], [Cut Position Adjustment (Fore Edge):], or [Cut Position Adjustment (Tail Edge):] pop-up menus.

13To print a Perfect Binding cover sheet, select [Finshing 3] from [Feature Sets:], and then select a print side from the [Perfect Binding Cover Sheet Print:] pop-up menu.

14Print the document using the print function in the document’s native application.
