Use the multi bypass tray (Tray 7) to copy onto OHP transparencies, translucent paper, and paper that cannot be loaded in the paper trays.

If the paper type you want to copy onto is not shown on the [Special Paper] screen or its paper weight is between 40.0–52.2 g/m2 (10.7–13.9 lb. Bond), 80.1–105.0 g/m2 (21.1–28.0 lb. Bond), or 220.1–300.0 g/m2 (81.0 lb. Cover–165.0 lb. Index), you must specify the paper type under [Tray Paper Settings]. Load the paper face up in the multi bypass tray (Tray 7).
Press [Tray 7].
Press [Paper Size].
Specify the size of the paper, and then press [OK].
Press [Special Paper].
Specify the type of the paper as necessary, and then press [OK].
Place the originals, and then press the [Start] key.
When the copy job is finished, press the [Reset] key to clear the settings.
