Configuring a Wireless LAN Using Easy Setup (When Using a Wireless Access Point Supporting WPS)

If the wireless access point in use supports WPS, the wireless LAN connection settings and security settings can be automatically configured in Infrastructure mode.

1Press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) at the bottom of the screen in the center.

2Flick the screen to the left, and then press the [User Tools] icon (Operation panel screen illustration).

3Press [Machine Features].

4Press [System Settings].

5Press [Interface Settings].

6Press [Wireless LAN].

7Press [Wireless LAN: Easy Setup/ Direct Connection].

8Select [Push Button] or [Enrollee].

  • [Push Button]

    1. Press the WPS button on the wireless LAN access point

    2. Press [Connect] on the screen.

  • [Enrollee]

    1. Enter the displayed PIN code in the Registrar.

    2. On the Web page of the wireless access point, and then press [Connect] on the screen.

9Press [Exit] twice.

10Press [User Tools] (Operation panel screen illustration) on the top right of the screen.

11Press [Home] (Operation panel screen illustration) at the bottom of the screen in the center.
