To prevent unauthorized operations, you can specify who is allowed to access each of the machine's functions.
Specify the functions available to registered users. By configuring this setting, you can limit the functions available to users.
You can place limitations on the use of the copier, Document Server, fax, scanner, printer, browser functions, and extended features.
Log in as the user administrator from the control panel.
Press [User Tools] (
) on the top right of the screen to close the initial settings screen.
Press the [Address Book Management] icon on the [Home] screen.
Select the user.
Press [Auth. Info].
Press [
Next] twice.
In "Available Functions", select the functions you want to specify.
If the function you want to select is not displayed, press [Next].
Press [OK].
Log out.
