You can enable embedded pattern printing to discourage or prevent unauthorized copying.
Log in as the machine administrator from the control panel.
Display the “Unauthorized Copy Prevention Stg.” screen.
[System Settings] |
Enable pattern printing.

Specify whether to select the embedded pattern in the printer driver or on the printer's control panel.
[Compulsory Unathd. Copy Preventn.] |
[Driver / Command]
You can specify all embedded pattern settings using the printer driver.
[Driver/Command (Most Settings)]
You can use the printer driver to specify all embedded pattern settings except for the type and density of the embedded pattern.
[Machine Setting(s)]
You cannot specify embedded pattern settings by the printer driver. The embedded pattern specified using the printer's control panel will be printed.
Log out.
