Duplex printing precautions

  • For details about the paper sizes and types available for duplex printing, see Paper Size Specifications and Paper Type Specifications.

  • If the document contains pages with different sizes, page breaks may occur.

  • When printing on both sides of paper shorter than A4 fed from Tray 4, printing speed may be slower than when printing on paper of the same size fed from Tray 1, 2, or 3.

Note

  • For details about setting the duplex printing function using the PCL 6 printer driver or PostScript 3 printer driver for Windows, see 2 Sided/Layout/Booklet.

  • For details about setting the duplex printing function using the PCL 5c printer driver, see Setup.
